HELP!! In need of willpower & eating motivation

Started my journey 01/09/14 - 25.7kg lost

Not such a good week this week! I ate rubbish, and topped it off by going a bit crazy at my son's 1st birthday party yesterday. My exercise was pretty good (3 walks and 1 pilates class), but I really need to rein in the junk food.

Looking back through my food diary, I ate something rubbish just about every day. I don't know why I do it, I don't crave sugar, I just seem to eat it mindlessly, and can never say no! I really need to get something clicking in my brain to stop me from eating these foods - hit me with what works for you!!

So plan this week:
1 or 2 strength sessions
Pilates on Thursday
4 walks of around 3.5/4km
Cutting down on bread
Increasing water intake

A lovely loss - and I'm feeling great!

Very happy to report a loss of 1.1kg this week! In part helped by feeling a bit rubbish for a day or so, but I also got at least 10,000 steps for 6 out of 7 days, did a strength session, a pilates class, a couple of decent walks, and some smaller walks to and from school.

If you've read previous posts, you'll know I am aiming for 86kg by next Monday. This was my weight when we conceived our son, and he turns one this week! So I need to knuckle down and lose 900gms this week (or more!).

I start my new job on Wednesday, and will be doing handover for 2.5 weeks, so I should be nice and busy, and that will help with any random snacking. My bread intake has been a bit high while I've been at home - I'm such a shocker when I'm bored! It's always when bubba is sleeping, so I can't even do housework to distract myself because he's such a light sleeper!

25kg gone!!

Sorry I haven't updated for a couple of weeks - although I've been unemployed, life has been super busy!

So let's start with the title of my blog - I LOST 25KG!! Yep, last Monday I finished my 12 week challenge on 88.0 - which is 6kg for the challenge, and 25kg all up - very exciting times! Today was my daughter's first day of school, so weigh in got missed in the excitement - will weigh in tomorrow and report back :)

In other great news, I have a job! I'm just waiting to confirm the start date, but it should be next Monday - I can't believe I got a great job in such a short time. It's still close to home, so no long commute :D

I don't think my weight loss tomorrow will be much (if anything) thanks to TTOM and my daughter's (multiple) 5th birthday celebrations. Time to knuckle down before August disappears! I still have the goal of 86 (conception weight) by the end of the month....

Reflecting & Future Goal Setting

Started my journey 01/09/14 - 24.4kg lost

I measly 200gms!! But honestly, I'm actually surprised I had a loss at all. My eating was rubbish, and I only exercised 1 day! My motivation went out the window with all the work drama that is happening - looks like I'm finishing up earlier than possible - as in this Friday! It's all turned to custard, and they are paying me out and making me sign to say I won't take legal action. Sigh. Not sure why it had to get so dramatic, but nevermind,

Back to the topic at hand. I'm going to lose as much as possible this week for my final challenge weigh in on Monday. I've lost 5.4 over the last 11 weeks, which isn't awesome, but at least it's a loss. I've also entered the 80's during the challenge, which is a pretty big milestone!

I would also LOVE to get to 86 by the end of August. 86 was my 'conception weight', and little Mr turns one of the 27th of August, so it's a sign!!

So basically, I need to go very hard out, eat perfectly, and exercise lots. All while raising 2 kids, having 2 significant birthdays (little miss turns 5 next week), and finding a job! Phew!
